Hello ParentChild+ community,
I am honored to be joining ParentChild+ as Chief Executive Officer on September 15, 2025. I’ve spent my entire career building partnerships that expand opportunity for students and families. This next chapter with ParentChild+ represents both a continuation of that work and an exciting opportunity to grow alongside an organization with such a powerful legacy.
Most recently, I served as CEO of the Fund for New York City Public Schools, where our organization raised more than $130 million to both support citywide priorities like NYC Reads, NYC Solves, Summer Rising and FutureReadyNYC and to launch and scale pilots like the school system’s first ArtsHub and the innovative PATH program for students with disabilities. That experience underscored the importance of collaboration, and the impact that can be achieved when partners align around a common goal.
Earlier in my career, I had the privilege of leading The 74 Media as CEO, where I expanded its reach and deepened its commitment to elevating diverse voices in education journalism. At the KIPP Foundation, I launched the KIPP Alumni Leadership Accelerator, a program designed to place 1,000 alumni in leadership positions across the country by 2040. And before that, I helped design a cradle-to-career education pipeline as Education Director at the Woodlawn Foundation in Birmingham, Alabama. Each of these roles has reinforced for me that systemic change comes when communities, educators, and families work together.
ParentChild+ embodies that philosophy. For 60 years, this organization has been building relationships with families and partners to ensure that every child has the foundation for a lifetime of success. I am excited to listen, learn, and collaborate with all of you to carry that mission forward.
In the months ahead, I look forward to meeting with you, hearing your stories, and working together to deepen our impact. Together, we will build on ParentChild+’s legacy and chart an ambitious path forward for children and families nationwide.
