María Hernández
María Hernández joined ParentChild+ as the Associate of Data Support and Training in July 2026, where she supports home visiting practitioners in navigating data systems and ensuring high-quality reporting. In addition to this role, María is a qualitative researcher and educator whose work focuses on the intersections of gender, education, migration, food studies, and health equity within Latino communities. She frequently collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to examine how these social factors shape migration experiences and health outcomes.
María is excited to bring her research and educational expertise to her work at ParentChild+ while continuing to advance her scholarship. She holds an M.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Latino and Latin American Studies. Outside of work, María enjoys exploring local coffee shops, taking long walks, watching movies, and going on road trips.
