Remembering Dr. Sanford & Phyllis Bolton
MINEOLA, NY, September 21, 2022 – Dr. Sanford Bolton was a widely respected expert in the field of biopharmaceutical statistics, co-founding the Hygrosol Pharmaceutical Corporation, as well as serving on the faculty of the University of Rhode Island and St. John’s University. His wife, Phyllis, was a distinguished artist, who had her artwork displayed in many exhibitions, always with the goal that it would inspire others.
We are deeply grateful that they chose, through a generous bequest, to support ParentChild+. We honor the Boltons for being so much more than generous givers. They made an impact throughout their lives, through their work and how they lived and the left behind a legacy to be proud of. Both sadly passed away in 2011, but they made sure that with their passing, their legacy would be felt, supporting a diverse array of nonprofit organizations that bring joy, learning, and music to people across the country. They generously provided ParentChild+ with a gift of over a half a million dollars, to help continue our mission: to ensure that all children regardless of their race, socio-economic status, or zip code have equal possibilities from the start.
