Nationwide Network of Program sites:
The Parent-Child Home Program is implemented in underserved communities through a nationwide network of replication sites. Sites include school districts, social service agencies, faith-based organizations, and other community-based organizations that are serving under-resourced families.
Every Parent-Child Home Program site adheres to the evidence-based model to ensure high quality services and consistent outcomes for families:
- Each site is run by a Site Coordinator hired by the replication site and trained by PCHP’s National Center staff or by a PCHP-certified regional trainer.
- Once they have completed PCHP training, Site Coordinators recruit and train local Early Learning Specialists, select and acquire high-quality appropriate curriculum materials based on PCHP model guidance, and then reach out to and enroll high-need families in their community.
Staff training is comprehensive, including child development; parental engagement; building respectful, trusting relationships with families and communities; the ethics of home visiting; and cultural competence.
