Meagan Spencer

Meagan Spencer currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Advancement Officer at ParentChild+, where she leads the organization’s national fundraising, communications, and growth strategies. Since joining the organization in July 2024, Meagan has played a critical role in strengthening ParentChild+’s infrastructure, expanding its visibility, and building a comprehensive philanthropic strategy to support mission-aligned growth.

A passionate advocate for equity in early childhood education, Meagan brings over a decade of experience advancing social impact across the nonprofit sector. Her career has spanned leadership roles in organizations focused on healthcare access, food insecurity, education equity, and workforce development in historically marginalized communities. Prior to her work in the nonprofit field, she began her career in law, but quickly recognized her drive to lead work rooted in justice, community partnership, and systems-level change.

As a parent, Meagan is personally connected to ParentChild+’s mission and is committed to ensuring that all families—regardless of race, income, or geography—have the support and resources they need to thrive from the start.

Outside of her professional life, Meagan is an avid reader, podcast enthusiast, and plant lover. She enjoys traveling, especially when the itinerary centers around food, and lives in Massachusetts with her partner, son, and three bonus children.
